East Texas (KLTV/KTRE) - Here is the Weather Where You Live... Welcome to Winter 2018-2019. Just a little breezy from time to time today, but nothing like yesterday. Clear skies are expected through much of the day on Saturday before a few clouds move through. A cold front should pass through East Texas late on Saturday. No rain expected. We will, however, see the South-Southwesterly Winds kick up at 15-25 mph during the day. A few gusts higher are possible ahead of this front. Mostly Sunny and less wind expected on Sunday. On Christmas Eve, a partly to mostly cloudy sky is expected with no real chances for rain. On Christmas Day, rain chances increase a bit during the day to 30%. Just scattered showers will be possible. On Wednesday, winds will increase out of the Southeast and rain chances will ramp up to 50%-70% ahead of another cold front slated to move in on Thursday morning. A few isolated thundershowers will be possible as well. Scattered rain showers on Thursday morning will be possible before the rain ends and the sun returns. Friday should be partly cloudy and cool. Lows near 40 and highs in the middle 50s. Have a great weekend, East Texas.
