LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - A parade to honor the Longview Lobos' recent win in the state championship game has been scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 9.

The parade is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, and it will go through downtown Longview, according to a post on the Longview ISD

Facebook page.

On Jan. 4, the city released a route for the parade.

After trailing for the early part of the game against Beaumont West Brook Saturday, the Lobos came back in the fourth quarter to win the game by a score of 35-34 to win the 6A Division 2 state title. It was Longview ISD’s first state football title since 1937.
