NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help locating a man who broke into a business in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 59 South and stole collectible items on Saturday.
According to a post on the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, a male broke into a business in the 7000 block of Highway 59 South shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday. The suspect entered the building by breaking the glass in the front door.
After the burglary, the suspect got into a mid-200s model white Chevrolet passenger car and turned toward Lufkin on Highway 59.
The Facebook post stated that the suspect took 150 $2 bills, 30 Eisenhower dollar coins, and one Baseball Hall of Fame commemorative coin.
The suspect is described as a white man with a bald head. In the surveillance video, he was wearing a long-sleeve shirt, shorts, and some type of lace-up boots.
“The suspect appears to have a tattoo on his left calf muscle,” the post stated. “Also appears to have a tattoo around his left arm, possibly a sleeve tattoo.”
The hubcaps are missing on the front of the suspect’s vehicle, the Facebook post stated.
“If you have any information on this crime or the identity of this person, please contact the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at (936) 560-4636,” the Facebook post stated. “We will be enhancing this video in the near future and will update this information when the enhancement is completed.”
