LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - A parade honoring the Longview High School football team will roll through downtown Longview on Wednesday.

The Lobos defeated Beaumont West Brook 35-34 on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, claiming the UIL Conference 6A Division 2 state title.
Team members and coaches are scheduled to ride in the parade, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of East Green and East Whaley streets. The route will turn on North Center Street, circling behind the Gregg County Courthouse on East Methvin Street before ending at First Street.
A pre-parade celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. Heritage Plaza, according to Longview Independent School District. The event will feature inflatable games, a bounce house, DJ, and food trucks.
The Lobo Booster Club is still selling championship merchandise inside the school’s athletic office. Vintage jerseys and helmets are also available for purchase at the booster club store.
