Fatal House Fire

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A fire marshal investigation has not been able to find answers to a fire which claimed the life of a Huntington man.

Adam Womack, 30, died in a trailer house fire on Martin Cochran Road on the morning of Nov. 15, 2018.

According to Huntington Volunteer Fire Chief Bobby Epperly, the call came from Womack’s father, who lived in a home on the same property. The father was not sure if he was in the home. Womack was later found by firefighters in the bedroom.

According to a fire marshal’s investigative report released to KTRE through an open records request, the fire marshal could not determine an origin of the fire and had to rule the cause as undetermined.
