Nacogdoches Parks and Rec advisory council considers new recommendations

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - On Thursday night, the Nacogdoches Parks and Recreation Advisory Board considered summer regulations for several parks in the area.

Maroney Park pavilion will be first come, first served, and the fee will be waived during the summer.

The pavilion near the splash pad location will be $10 an hour.

New playgrounds will be placed at Pioneer Park and Pecan Parks.

A few adjustments for the playground features will be presented to the playground company and will be taken to the next city council meeting on February 19th AT 5:30 p.m. for approval.
