A cold front will bring us some showers overnight before drier air and sunshine returns Tuesday

Weather Where You Live

DEEP EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - It is a rainy night in East Texas and the rain will be with us throughout the overnight hours until a cold front swings through our area close to daybreak on Tuesday.

Once the cold front pushes through, it will scour out all the moisture and cloud cover, giving way to clearing skies and a cool breeze on Tuesday.

This will set the stage for a couple of chilly nights followed by mild afternoons under lots of sunshine for Tuesday and Wednesday, giving us a much-needed break from the cloudy, dreary, wet weather throughout the Piney Woods.

Another cold front will then grace us with its presence late Thursday night and into early Friday morning. Other than some clouds gathering along this front, it will come through mainly on the dry side.

Behind this late week frontal passage, we will be in store for two more days of sunny, drier weather on Friday and Saturday.

A third cold front looks to move in late next weekend and into early next week. This front will bring us more clouds and perhaps a better shot at some rain.
