DEEP EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - High pressure will dominate our weather landscape for the next couple of days, providing us with sunshine and dry weather.
The clear skies, dry air, and calm winds will lead to a cold night as overnight lows drop into the middle 30′s.
Wednesday will be filled with blue skies and it will feel fantastic, with highs in the middle 60′s.
A southerly wind will kick in on Thursday, bringing us increasing clouds and warmer temperatures. Despite the warming trend and passing clouds later in the week, we are going to keep the forecast dry as we will lack a trigger to bring us any rain.
Daytime highs will climb into the 70′s Thursday through Saturday, giving us an early taste of spring.
Our next cold front looks to move in over the weekend, which will bring back a 20% chance of isolated showers on Sunday followed by cooler weather moving back into the Piney Woods.
Moisture moving over the cold air will bring us a cloudy, damp, and dreary start to next week as a cold rain returns to East Texas.
