LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Sarah Palin's memoir, “Going Rogue: An American Life,” is hitting book stores by storm and creating a national stir, which is no surprise as Palin remains a hot topic.

"We're expecting great things from it and that it's one of the most anticipated books of the season," Lufkin Waldenbooks manager Gary Makries said.

Makries couldn't tell us just how many copies Waldenbooks has received so far, but he says that sources tell him he will be getting minimal amounts spread out over time.

"We're expecting a lot of sales from this. Probably continually through the holiday season," Makries said.

Palin fans and critics can learn about Palin's journey as governor of Alaska, as well as her campaign efforts, and her plans for the future...and all the juicy details that fall in between.

East Texans explained what they were looking forward to in the book.

"I want to know if she's running for President. I want to know what she's going to do and how I can help her," Gloria Register said.

"What she has to say about the McCain committee kind of shutting her up, and I happen to believe that," Chuck Hammond said.

"Actually, I think it's a waste of time to give her any attention basically. Her political views have no grasp on what's actually going on," Samantha Tullos said.
