Brad MauleA general store on the banks of Sam Rayburn is an 'unlikely spot' to find a television 'star,' but that's exactly where Dr. Tony Jones from the soap opera 'General Hospital', or in real life Brad Maule, spent his day.
Maule took a break from fishing, to delight his fans at CJ's General Store with an autograph party. They may start seeing Maule often. He's preparing for a permanent move to Nacogdoches where he'll live in between gigs. "I'm also going to teach private acting while I'm here. I'm opening up an art gallery and I'm going to make Nacogdoches my base and I'm going to work in LA when work calls," said Maule while surrounded by lake visitors.
Most recently Maule has made several guest appearances on "7th Heaven", but he frequently visits the Pineywoods where he stays with good friends. One of his last visits was for corrective eye surgery at Lehmann Eye Center. He's also provided scholarships at SFA.
Maule will also perform the lead role in the Lamp-lite production of 'The King and I'. A busy summer indeed for the Stephen F. Austin State University alum.
