Senator Cornyn Elected to Leadership

Colleagues of Republican Senator John Cornyn, elected him unanimously to Vice Chairman of the Republican Conference.  The position is the fifth highest in the U.S. Senate. 

The position was formerly held by Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, who was elected to the Chair of the Republican Policy Committee.
