Angelina County All-Stars Receive Scholarships

School is coming to an end, and seniors are scrambling to get those last minute scholarships. Five East Texas Drug Free All-Stars have been awarded $5-hundred scholarships each.

Mallory Brandenburg, of Huntington, was given a scholarship sponsored by Contractor's Supplies and Angelina Savings. She plans to attend Texas A & M.

Todd Hendrickson, of Central, received a scholarship from East Texas Asphalt and Huntington State Bank. He will attend SFA.

Addie Russell, of Hudson, will also become an Aggie. Her scholarship was sponsored by Lincoln Mitchell.

Rachel Oates, of Diboll, also plans to be a lumberjack. She received her scholarship from KSWP/KAVX Christian Broadcast radio.

And, Jessica Hernandez, a Lufkin student, plans to attend Tyler Junior College. Her scholarship was sponsored by the Coalition and Carroway-Claybar funeral home.
