Gene T. Foy
Funeral services for Gene T. Foy, 52, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Andy Salagaj officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Mr. Foy was born January 18, 1956 in Metairie, Louisiana to Virginia (Polito) and Louie Steve Foy, and died Friday, February 9, 2008 in a local hospital.
A former resident of Mount Hermon, Louisiana, Mr. Foy had resided in Lufkin for the past 20 years. He was a land developer for Naterra Land Company and was a member of the Lufkin First Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Melanie Foy of Lufkin; son, Bryan Foy of Lewisville; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Amanda Foy of Lufkin; grandchildren, Ethan Foy and Adison Foy; father, Louie Foy of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Julie Foy of Houston, Ron and Carolyn Foy of Lufkin and Leroy and Ginger Foy of Slidell, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia (Polito) Foy; brother, Donald Foy; and sisters, Janice Craven and Doris Tymon.
Pallbearers will be Russell Moak, Scott Moak, Jason Foy, Ricky Clark, Todd Heuvelman and Ricky Ohnheiser.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 116 South Raguet Street, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
