‘Jacks take down Cardinals in Beaumont

    Trinity Valley's Lady Cardinals, the top-ranked team in the nation, showed why they're deserving of that status with a 78-50 win over Angelina College's Lady Roadrunners; and the Roadrunners fell victim to a late three-point barrage in falling to Trinity Valley's Cardinals by an 82-77 score.

    The head coach of the Angelina College Lady Roadrunners left Athens on the 30th of November feeling as if his team had missed out on an opportunity to beat the Trinity Valley Lady Cardinals on their home floor. After rallying with four minutes remaining to pull within six points of TVCC's lead, the Lady ‘Runners thought they were poised to pull off the upset.
