HUNTINGTON, TX (KTRE) - An apparent feud between two men culminated in an altercation Thursday where one of the men pulled out a gun on school property.

According to an arrest affidavit, Gregory Boston, 39, reported to the Angelina County Sheriff's Office that Frank Williams, 67, had called him and told him he was going to beat him with a baseball bat. Boston was advised to report the incident to Huntington ISD Police.

While Boston was reporting the incident at Huntington ISD to Chief Michael Jinkins, Williams pulled into the parking lot and got out of his vehicle, carrying a baseball bat. Williams told Boston he would "cut him in half," the affidavit stated.

While Jinkins was detaining Williams, Boston had the opportunity to leave, but instead pulled a pistol out of his vehicle and chambered a round. Jinkins ordered Boston to leave and he did, the affidavit stated.

Boston is charged with exhibition of a firearm and Williams is charged with aggravated assault. Both have been arrested and bonded out of jail.

Jinkins declined an on-camera interview, but did say Williams is married to Huntington High School Principal Jennifer Williams. He said he could not comment on the events leading up to the altercation as it is an open investigation.

"It's an unfortunate incident where two grown men acted irresponisbly," Jinkins said.
