The seasonal temperatures will continue for several more days as a northerly breeze keeps the cooler weather in place.  A weak area of low pressure in South Texas may swing a few showers into the Piney Woods on Friday, but the rain chances will remain on the low side.  Another fast moving cold front will swing through the state late Friday and into Saturday, reinforcing the cool temperatures that are already in place.

Wednesday night will be partly cloudy and cool.  Lows will drop into the upper 30's and lower 40's.  Winds will be north at 5 mph.

Thursday will be partly sunny with temperatures staying on the cool side.  Highs will top out in the upper 50's.  Winds will be out of the northeast at 10 mph.

It appears that a shift in the weather pattern will swing not one, but two storm systems across the Deep South next week.  It is too early to tell how much rain we will receive, but it does appear rain chances will be going up next week.
