Alto coaches could face charges

ALTO, TX (KTRE) - The Cherokee County District Attorney's Office told KTRE on Thursday that they have received the investigation files from the Alto Police Department on Paul Dixon and John Paul Dixon.

Paul Dixon, a coach at Alto ISD was placed on paid administrative leave, but then resigned.  John Dixon, also an Alto coach, is on paid administrative leave.

The District Attorney's Office said there is a large amount of material they have to go through before they present it to a grand jury.

If the grand jury chooses, Paul Dixon could face a charge of Improper Student-Educator Relationship, and John Paul Dixon could face a charge of Tampering With A Witness.
