Judge sets strict conditions on alleged exposer's bond

From the KTRE East Texas newsroom... A man arrested yesterday for allegedly engaging in lewd acts at a Lufkin park in front of a playground will be charged with more counts of indecency after police discovered video footage of him exposing himself at Wal-Mart, a police affidavit stated.

Brian Scott Johnson, 41, of Pollok, was arrested Tuesday for allegedly exposing himself at Morris Frank Park near a playground. When arrested, the affidavit states Johnson had a digital camera with him. The police officer received Johnson's permission to examine the camera.

Justice of the Peace Billy Ball set Johnson's bail at $120,000. Here are some conditions of his bond:

* He can only leave home for work, medical or legal issues.

* He must wear a GPS bracelet.

* No contact with someone under the age of 18.

An analysis on the camera showed Johnson allegedly videoing himself walking around the Lufkin Wal-Mart with his genitals exposed and masturbating in front of several children.

The affidavit states Johnson admitted he was the man in the video. He will be charged with five counts of Indecency with a Child by exposure.

Instances of Johnson exposing himself on separate occasions in front of girls approximately aged 6, 8, 9 and 12 and in front of a boy approximately aged 7 are documented on the affidavit.

Three of the instances state Johnson exposed himself on a toy aisle in the Wal-Mart.

Police believe the offenses happened around Dec. 15, 2008.

Tonight on KTRE East Texas News at 6, Holley Nees will reveal Johnson's well-documented criminal past.
