LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Angelina College Men's Basketball Coach Todd Neighbors had a big smile on his face Wednesday morning.  Neighbors signed three new Roadrunners, including Louisiana's Mr. Basketball. Class B Player of the Year Joevoskie Mitchell will continue his career at A.C.  Mitchell's mother also played at Angelina College.

"This is the first time Angelina College has a signed a Mr. Basketball from any state," said Neighbors.  "And to do that just puts a stamp on our program that we're taking it to another level."

Mitchell's high school teammate Antonio Holmes also signed with the Roadrunners.  Holmes was the 2009 Class B State Tournament MVP.  Holmes and Mitchell won three state titles in four years at Zwolle High School.

"It's going to help chemistry," said Neighbors.  "They're winners. They won three out of four state championships in Louisiana. They won 68 games this year."

A.C. also locked up Travis Smith from San Antonio Madison.  Smith is rated as one of the top fifty players in the state.  He was also a McDonald's High School All American.
