LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An unknown man choked a nine-year-old Lufkin girl before running into the woods Monday night, according to a Lufkin Police report.
According to the report, the girl was tying her shoe outside at Pinewood Park Apartments when a stranger approached her from behind and covered her eyes and choked her.
The report states several witnesses saw the incident and the suspect fled into the woods.
The child did not have visible injuries but did throw up after the attack.
The suspect is described to be a black man in his 30s, approximately 6'2", with a slender build.
