Child is allegedly choked

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Police need your help in finding a suspect.

Monday night a 9-year-old girl was choked by an unknown man at Pine Wood Park Apartments.

According to the police report, the child was tying her shoe when the stranger approached her from behind, covered her eyes, and choked her. The child had no visible injuries, but she did throw up as a result of the attack.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 30's. He is about 6'2" and slender build.
