Lufkin High School students help city go green

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The special education class at Lufkin High School is helping the city go green one ink catridge at a time.

They have teamed with Angelina Beautiful Clean to pick up cartridges from local businesses to be recycled.

Monday morning they collected cartridges from the Chamber of Commerce.  They also recycle ink jet catridges and cell phones.    The project has helped their class earn money for supplies and incentives.

If your business is interested in being on the scheduled pick-up list contact Angelina Beautiful Clean.
