DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) - The expansion dedication ceremony at TLL Temple Memorial Library on Saturday brought in some big names like former U.S. Rep. Charlie Wilson and U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison.

The new 2,300 square foot multi-purpose room was filled with people celebrating the expansion.   Hutchison said she attended the event because of her respect for Arthur Temple and how he gave back to his community.

"I think that honoring him and the Temple family and what they're doing with this library is, it's really a treasure for Angelina County," Hutchison said.

She said books can help change our world.

The ribbon cutting this afternoon was 45 years to the day that the library was originally dedicated to the people of Diboll.
