SFA reviews flu pandemic response

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Universities across Texas are also taking precautions. Stephen F. Austin State University administrators are reviewing the university's influenza pandemic response and recovery plan.  "We have a level one and it goes up and we're not even at level one," explained Bob Wright, SFA spokesperson. "We just decided to pull the plan out, go over it again and just make sure we know what's on it and what we need to do. Just in case we do have to go into an alert stage."

Any student infected by swine flu can be isolated at the health clinic or if necessary spend nights in a university provided apartment until parents arrive. There have been no flu cases --of any kind--on campus for a couple of months.
