COPY-4/28/09 Lufkin Police Report

Driving while intoxicated, 4900 block Southwood Drive: Blood test results from a late December accident were received in March and showed the blood alcohol level of a driver involved in an injury accident was above the .08 limit. A warrant will be requested.

Assault, 2000 block Spence Street: Complainant reported that the mother of his children hit him in the face and threw a brick at him during an argument Monday night.

Burglary/habitation, 100 block Willow Brook: Complainant reported that her home was broken into in late February and a laptop computer and a printer were stolen.

Debit card abuse, 2500 block Daniel McCall: Complainant reported that her debit card was stolen over the weekend and several unauthorized transactions were made on the card.

Fraud, 1300 block Atkinson Drive: Complainant reported that she was denied food stamps because someone else in the system was drawing assistance using her daughter's identifying information.

Forgery/counterfeiting, 1800 block W. Frank Street: Complainant reported that three unknown suspects cashed bogus checks at a store on more than one occasion between January and early March.

Theft, 2200 block N. Timberland Drive: Complainant reported that numerous plants were stolen sometime Sunday night from a nursery business.

Burglary/habitation, 1700 block Williams Street: Complainant reported that an air compressor and a framing nail gun were stolen from a residence that he was renovating over the weekend.

Theft, 1000 block Allendale Street: Complainant reported that she loaned her digital camera to a known suspect last month and the suspect has not returned it. When questioned about the camera recently, the suspect fled from the complainant.

Criminal mischief, 1500 block S. First Street: Complainant reported that a car had paint sprayed on the hood and the back window was broken out over the weekend.
