Attorney general says man who owes child support may be hiding in Nacogdoches

NACOGDOCHES, TX - The Texas attorney general says a man who owes $39,837 in child support may be living in Nacogdoches.

Dean Greer is ranked fifth on the state's top ten list of Texas' Most Wanted Child Support Evaders.

"Dean Greer has turned his back on his child by refusing to pay child support," said Attorney General Abbott. "We urge Texans to help us locate this parent who is wanted by authorities for failing to pay his child support. Parents who ignore their responsibility to support their children must be held accountable for violating the law."

According to a press release issued by the attorney general's office, Greer was ordered in 1990 to make child support payments of $120 per month. An arrest warrant was issued after Greer failed to appear at a September 2007 enforcement hearing.

Due to missed payments and legally mandated interest, Greer owes more than $39,000 in unpaid child support.

Greer's last known address is in Nacogdoches.

Also on the top 10 list was Angela Keller, whose last known address was in Livingston. Keller owes $45,017 in child support.
