Hadnot bringing free camp back to Lufkin

Former Lufkin High School offensive lineman, Rex Hadnot is hosting his Second Annual FREE Football Camp.  The date for the camp is June 26, 2009.  Location is Able Martin Stadium (Rain or Shine).   The deadline for registering for the camp is June 24, 2009.  Early registration forms can be found at Academy Sports, 2912 Brentwood Drive, Lufkin, TX.  The camp once again will be organized by Coach Tommy Earley from Lufkin High School.  For more information please contact him at: (936) 630-4124.

"We are doing the camp different this year" stated Coach Earley.  "This year we are having both age groups at the same time, but at different locations.  The youngest group, 7-12, will check in at 8:25 AM at the football stadium and the 13-18 year old group will check in at 8:25 AM at the soccer field.  Both camps will run simultaneously from 9:00 AM till Noon.  This will give us time to focus on the players and the things we want to teach them."

Rex Hadnot's sports camp was extremely successful last year.  With a group of 300+ campers, Hadnot was thrilled with the turnout.  "With this being my first camp I really didn't know what to expect.  But it did not take long for the entire community to understand my vision.  This camp is not just about football, but it is about working hard, paying attention to what matters like, family, school and it is ok to dream big.  I set goals back in high school and I'm blessed to say many have come true.  Even as an NFL player, I still have dreams and goals that I believe I can reach if I dedicate myself."
