10 samples come back negative for H1N1, county official says

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - According to a county health official, 48 samples have been sent to the state lab for testing of the H1N1 flu virus.

Sharon Shaw of the health district said 10 have come back negative and she is waiting for results of the rest. She said she expects a few results to come back each day.

Shaw said the state is providing priority testing to lab samples of patients that are hospitalized, none of which are from Angelina County.
