Trial set for former state school employee

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A state district judge set the trial for a former Lufkin state school employee charged with assaulting a resident.

According to District Attorney Clyde Herrington, Toby Falcon will face a jury on Wednesday in Barry Bryan's courtroom.

According to a previous KTRE report, the assault allegedly took place March 11, 2008, when Falcon was employed at the school. A witness said Falcon took off his ring and hit the resident who is legally blind.
