Grand jury indicts Pollok man for indecency with child

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An Angelina grand jury indicted a Pollok man with seven counts of indecency with a child and two counts of of improper photography or visual recording.

Brian Scott Johnson, 42, was first arrested in March after a parent allegedly caught him exposing himself in a car in front of children at Morris Frank Park.

Also indicted was Shonda LaShae Rodriguez, 21, of Lufkin, for injury to elderly.

Bond for Johnson was set at $90,000.

On March 21, 2009 Johnson allegedly took improper pictures of a child in a Dollar General Store off Chestnut that police later obtained.  

Two days later, Johnson is caught by a baseball coach allegedly doing lewd acts in front of children at Morris Frank Park.  

Security video later obtained by police from Insta-Cash Pawn on Timberland is dated, March 23, 2009 and revealed Johnson recording video underneath a child's skirt.  

Later, also on March 23, Johnson is arrested for Indecency with a Child and held in the Angelina County Jail.  

On March 26, 2009 Johnson is charged with five additional counts of Indecency with a Child after police served a search warrant and discovered video of Johnson allegedly exposing himself in front of small children in the Lufkin Wal-Mart.  

On April 1, 2009 police charged Johnson with two additional counts of Improper Photography or Visual Recording.

Rodriguez was arrested on April 8 for allegedly abusing a resident at Castle Pines Nursing Home on March 22.

The complaint was first filed on March 23 when a director at Castle Pines told police they had seen someone slapping the hand of a patient the day before.  The elderly patient had bruising to the backs of both hands and a tear to the skin of her upper arm.
