COPY-5/26/09 Nacogdoches Police Report

Possession of marijuana; 100 block of East Pilar Street. Officer contacted the suspect after he staggered out into traffic. Suspect was found to be intoxicated and lee blue was arrested. He was also found to be in possession of suspected marijuana.

DWI; 400 block of Stallings Drive. Officer responded to a reckless driver complaint. Officer stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, Theresa Stephenson, who was suspected of being intoxicated. She was arrested.

Dwi-criminal mischief-public intoxication; 4500 block of north university drive. Officers received a complaint about suspects pouring something on a parked car. Officers located the vehicle and contacted the driver, Don Lenz. He was suspected of being intoxicated and was arrested. a passenger, Preston Hastings was arrested for pi. Both were charged with criminal mischief.

Theft of a firearm; 4100 block of Stallings drive. A colt 1922 pistol was stolen from a parked and unsecure vehicle.

Burglary of a vehicle-criminal mischief; 2900 block of Chimney Rock Drive.  Suspects entered an unsecure vehicle and removed a credit card. The card was used at several Nacogdoches businesses.

Theft; 4810 North Street (Wal Mart). Loss prevention observed a suspect taking DVD movies. Jared Benson was arrested.

Criminal trespass; 100 block of North Street. A known suspect was observed on the premises where a previous criminal trespass warning had been issued. warrant requested.

Burglary of a vehicle; 500 block of Houston Street. Unknown suspects removed a troy built gasoline weedeater from the bed of a pickup truck.

Cruelty to animals; 1000 block of Hackberry Street. A puppy with a broken leg was observed at a residence. The residents had attempted to care for the dog. The dog was taken to the animal shelter.

Burglary of a vehicle; 200 block of Nottingham Drive. Unknown suspects threw a metal object through a vehicle window and took some loose change.

Theft; 1000 block of jack lock. An unknown suspect entered a front yard and removed a green 20" boy's next bike.
