ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Methamphetamine addiction is one of the most difficult forms of addictions to treat and for law enforcement it's one of the most difficult drugs to eradicate. So, the drug war rages on and Angelina County Officers said they won another battle with the arrest of a local man.
"Well it's a dent, I mean, but for every one we get there's two or three more out there. I mean, but it does make you feel good. It does make a difference one at a time. Just keep getting them," said Angelina County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Allen Hill.
The Angelina County Sheriff's Office arrested a man following a drug bust Wednesday morning on FM 2108 near the Angelina County airport, according to a spokesperson with the office.
Hill said pills, 5 grams of methamphetamine, 1 gram of cocaine, and more than $5,000 in cash were confiscated in the bust.
Josh McMurray, 31, was arrested in the bust and taken to the Angelina County Jail. He is charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, among many other charges, according to Hill.
The bust was executed around 10 a.m. at McMurray's residence, Hill said.
