Pack puts up tough fight, loses 12-7

ROUND ROCK, TX (KTRE)- The Lufkin Panthers lost in a bid for their first state championship in more than 40 years, falling to El Paso Socorro, 12-7, Saturday afternoon in Round Rock.

Socorro chased two Lufkin pitchers, Luis DeJesus and then JP Clifton, from the game.
A grand slam home run turned the tide against the Pack.
