Hudson police confiscate 35 pot plants

HUDSON, TEXAS (KTRE) - Hudson police say they confiscated 35 mature marijuana plants in a Hudson home.

According to Lt. Jimmy Casper, Ken Holland, 44, was growing the plants under and extensive lab inside a bedroom in his home.

Casper said he is glad to get this large of an amount off the streets.

"It feels good," he said. "We were able to get some off the streets and that's what were here for. We're not going to be able to get everybody right now but we just steadily build it up. This is not going to be the biggest one around."

Casper said the plants have a street value of $21,000.

Holland was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
