LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The new Apple iPhone went on sale at selected AT&T stores bright and early Friday morning. It was about this time two years ago the first iPhone was introduced, causing chaos as people scrambled to get their hands on the phone.

Friday's release of the 3G iPhone was nothing like the past. The new phone was greeted with much smaller lines and drama; however, we still found some people crazy about the new i-phone and its features.

"It's just a really good tool to like put everything together on one machine so you don't have to run around and mess with like a computer and a MP3 player and stuff like that," said Devin McDaniels, purchased iPhone on Friday.

Mcdaniels said he's excited about the phone's new feautures, such as video and the option to e-mail pictures.
