Truck full of eggs wrecks in East Texas

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The 18-wheeler was traveling down 103 towards Lufkin when it began veering to the right and turned over in the ditch.

A hazmat crew was on the scene to clean up the diesel that leaked out of the tank.

No one was hurt, but the driver, David Steward Melroy of Nacogdoches, will be cited for failure to drive in a single lane.

Department of Public Safety Trooper Chad Wilson said it would probably take two tow trucks to get the 18-wheeler full of eggs out of the ditch.
