ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Angelina County Sheriff's Office arrested and charged five suspects in connection with Tuesday's chase.

The charges came after the Sheriff's Office worked to clear some confusion early Wednesday morning.  According to Lt. Pete Cooper, some of those arrested had not been truthful about who they are, making it complicated to properly book them.

Stephen Dewayne Wallace, 34, is charged with Aggravated Kidnapping, Tampering with Evidence; Methamphetamine, Evading Arrest, and two Class C Misdemeanors.

Stephanie Denise Powell, 37, is charged with Aggravated Kidnapping, Hindering Apprehension of a Known Felon, Parole Violation; Forgery, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Gary Dale Allen, 31, is charged with Evading Arrest and Aggravated Kidnapping.

Christopher Guffey, 29, is also charged with Evading Arrest and Aggravated Kidnapping.

Rachel Tutt, 21, is charged with Aggravated Kidnapping and Bond Revocation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
