Two injured in wreck near Corrigan

CORRIGAN, TX (KTRE) - A Corrigan man was transported to a hospital with critical injuries after rolling his pickup truck several times on FM 357 in Corrigan on Sunday afternoon, according to a local Web site.

According to an article published on, Sage Hunter, 18, of Corrigan was driving westbound on FM 357 when a witness said he left the road at the right, over-corrected and rolled the 2003 Toyota Tacoma several times before coming to a rest upside down on the opposite side of the road.

A passenger was transported to a Lufkin hospital while Sage was taken by helicopter to a Tyler hospital.

Department of Public Safety Troopers Brent Murray and Kevin Burman investigated the wreck, the article stated.
