DESOTO PARISH, LA (KSLA) - DeSoto Parish, Louisiana authorities have called in air support to look for a skydiver who may have landed in Toledo Bend.
The sheriff's office said they got a call Monday afternoon from someone who saw a parachute go into the water near Circle Drive in the southwest part of the parish.
Witnesses reported they saw a black and red wing-like craft, a possible hand glider or ultra-light, go down.
Authorities already have boats in the water looking for the possible victim. The sheriff's office says they've requested air support from the Louisiana State Police to assist in the search.
After three hours of searching, crews found no sign of anyone, nor have they received a report of anyone missing.
