LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The number of confirmed H1N1 cases in Angelina County and Polk County has risen to eight, according to Sharon Shaw, Angelina County Health District director.
There are now seven confirmed cases in Angelina County and one confirmed case in Polk County.
Thoso who were infected with the H1N1 virus are all under the age of 18 and back to regular activities.
The number of cases reported on June 18 was two.
The first case in Angelina County was reported on May 12 and was that of a student at Lufkin High School.
