LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The Angelina County Sheriff's Department war on drugs continues on. They are cracking down on drugs, no matter the size of the illegal operation.

Sheriff's deputies confiscated two ounces of marijuana and prescriptions drugs from a mobile home Friday morning. They arrested and charged Rayford James Murphy, 33, with two counts of delivery of marijuana and one count of delivery of a controlled substance.

Sergeant Allen Hill with the narcotics division said there's about 50 families that live in the America's Mobile Home Park off of highway 94, an area where countless children live.

"All up and down the neighborhood you know people coming in and out of the house, all kind of people coming in there buying drugs," said Hill. "The people that sell drugs come in there to make their delivery to him and the kids are exposed to it."

Hill said Murphy could get two years in jail for each count he's charged with, if found guilty.
