TYLER, TX (KLTV) - No one likes to clean the toilets. But we found a new product that might make the dirty job, a little cleaner. First it has to pass the "Does It Work?" test. The scrubbing bubbles are 30 years old this year and what better way to celebrate than with a new toilet cleaning system. Sounds like a fun place to work, huh?
The Fresh Brush Max allows you to have a fresh toilet brush every time and your hands never touch anything nasty. They make two kinds of brushes for the product. More on that in a moment.
The starter kit includes the 19 inch handle and two scouring, Max Cleaning Pads. Now here's the genius behind the Fresh Brush. Push a button way up on the handle and connect the heavy duty cleaning pad that way. Once we're cleaning we can see the blue scrubbing bubbles and the tough scouring pad, work as well as any alternative.
The angle on this handle really allows us to get up under the rim. Smells good too.
What we're really testing here, is this brush's ability to get you through the job without making you feel like you can never eat with your hands again.
Theoretically, we're supposed to be able to dispose of the pad without touching it. A push of the button and...success.
So, let's try the other product that connects to our cleaning system, the Fresh Brush Flushables.
You get 12 of these Flushables in a package. The blue stuff soaked in there is cleaner. And just like the heavy duty pads, this one clips in easily. The cleaning is the same, without the scouring surface. But with this product, you just push the button, the pad lets go and you flush it away. And get this, the product comes with a little hook that clips on the bowl.
So "Does It Work?" We give the Fresh Brush an enthusiastic "Yes."
The starter kit, handle and all and will cost you about $6. Both kinds of refills - Heavy Duty and the Flushables cost about six bucks too.
