LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - If you're on DISH Network, there is now a possibility that you can get KTRE.
If you have a high definition satellite receiver then it is possible for an off-air antenna to be installed that can mount outside next to your satellite dish. Thus, making it possible to route your antenna through your satellite receiver. Then, your satellite receiver would work like a converter box and it would make KTRE available in your DISH Network guide.
"Channel nine isn't actually coming in over the satellite, no. It's coming in through an off-air antennae that we would have to install for you, which isn't part of the DISH Network standard installation," said Keith Molandes with Big Boys Toys.
KTRE's program names won't show up in your guide, but you will be able to watch our channel. So, KTRE is not on DISH, but if you get an antenna installed with your high definition satellite receiver, you could get channel 9 to show up with your satellite channels in the guide. Of course, if you have any questions about this please call the station.
