TIMPSON, TX (KTRE) - A two-year-old toddler apparently shot another toddler Monday night in Timpson.
According to Police Chief Hilton Poindexter, lawmen responded to a 9-1-1 call from Neal Street.
Upon arrival, the officers found the toddler, also 2, had been shot in the upper right abdomen area.
The investigation revealed a 22-caliber pistol was left in the bedroom where they were playing.
The child is listed in stable condition at a Shreveport hospital.
