Huntington builder has his first Parade Home since he moved back to East Texas

HUNTINGTON, TX (KTRE) - The Parade of Homes continued Sunday in deep East Texas, and one builder said it was his first time to be in the Parade.  He's been building for several years, but he just moved home to build in East Texas.

The builder said he tried to incorporate a lot of different cultures into the parade home to create a unique look.

The house has three bedrooms and a study, surround sound, and even an outdoor kitchen.

The builder said he was thrilled with people's reaction to the home.

"I guess the biggest word that I've heard is wow basically, is wow and that excites me, you know, and makes me feel good because we put a lot of pride in what we do," said builder Gene Caldwell with Caldwell & Loper Custom Homes.

The home is for sale.  They are asking $425,000 for it.
