1 arrested, others sought in early morning robbery

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Sheriff's deputies arrested a 29 year old man after he allegedly broke into a home Friday morning. LaDarrell Wyrick was charged with aggravated robbery.

Nacogdoches Sheriff Thomas Kerss said Wyrick was one of three black men who allegedly broke into an older Hispanic man's home Friday morning. The robbery was reported sometime after 5 a.m. at a home in the Briar Forest subdivision off Press Road in Nacogdoches.


The homeowner reported that the 3 men broke-in, demanding any available money or drugs.

A confrontation occurred, during which the homeowner was able to hit one of the men with a kitchen pot, before they escaped.
