Hood County authorities search for fugitive believed to be living in Angelina Co.

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Hood County authorities are asking for Angelina County citizens' assistance in locating a fugitive believed to be living in the Huntington area, according to a Lufkin Police spokesman.

Joseph Lee Stolz, 44, is wanted on felony drug charges in Hood County.

According to an e-mail from Lt. David Young of LPD, law enforcement from Hood County and local law enforcement worked together to try to locate Stolz earlier in the week but were unsuccessful.

Stolz is described as a white male, 5'9" and 180 pounds.

Hood Co. Capt. Jerry East said his office will seek criminal charges against anyone found to be harboring or assisting Stolz in evading arrest.
