Jasper teen dies in rollover wreck

JASPER COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A 17-year-old Jasper man died Tuesday morning after losing control on a curve and ejecting from the vehicle, according to a Department of Public Safety report.

The report stated Ben Clayton Stagg was driving his 2000 Chevy Lumina westbound on County Road 64 when he lost control and rolled over.

The report stated it was an unknown time when the wreck occurred. Stagg died at 9:16 a.m. in a Jasper hospital.

Stagg was not wearing a seatbelt, the report stated.
