LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – A third suspect in what Huntington Police say was a meth lab bust last week has been arrested by Lufkin Police after what they say was a home burglary.
Huntington Police Chief Steven Sifford said he was on his way to serve three warrants to Leland Wayne Randolph, 24, who was arrested by LPD on Sunday after a block-long foot chase.
Randolph is charged by Huntington Police with possession with intent to manufacture, possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest.
Lufkin Police have charged him with burglary of a habitation and evading arrest.
According to Lufkin Police Lt. David Young, officers chased down Randolph following a suspected burglary on the 300 block of Hubbard Street.
Sifford said Randolph had escaped officers following a meth lab bust inside a trailer house on Gipson Street.
Also arrested in the suspected meth lab bust were Alice Shianne Horton, 18, and Francis McElreath, 19. Both are charged with possession of a certain chemical and possession of a controlled substance.
