Center Police arrest man wanted in North Lufkin robbery

CENTER, TX (KTRE) - A man wanted on an aggravated robbery charge in Lufkin last week has been arrested by Center Police.

According to Center Police, Dante Ray Faison, was arrested Monday on charges of possession of a controlled substance and harassment of a public servant.

Lufkin Police Lt. David Young said it is not known when Faison will be arraigned on the Lufkin charges.

Faison allegedly escaped police in an attempted robbery last week on the 2100 block of Nile Street. Arrested and charged already are Dominick Moore and Roberta Perodin. Both are charged with aggravated robbery.
